Ali Ilhan of Bursa, Turkey commutes to work every day while his companion, Cesur the dog, roams free in various directions. Due to Ali’s busy schedule, he has never paid much attention to the route his pet takes and has always been relieved when Cesur returns home safely. This routine persisted until one day when Ali found himself with some spare time and decided to follow Cesur. To his surprise, Ali discovered that Cesur was making his way directly to Ali’s father’s grave. Cesur seemed to be aware of his destination as he stopped right in front of the burial site.

Mehmet Ilhan’s dear friend Cesur was truly devastated when he heard that his owner was admitted to the hospital. Cesur was so distraught that he even stopped eating during the final days of Mr. Mehmet’s life. Sadly, Mehmet passed away in January 2017, leaving Cesur utterly heartbroken. During the funeral procession, the faithful dog stood by the coffin and refused to leave his owner’s side until Mehmet was laid to rest. According to Ali, no one dared to touch Cesur until his beloved owner was buried. The sorrowful look on Cesur’s face as he stood next to the coffin was a poignant reminder of the deep connection between man and dog.
