Paolo Roversi, an Italian-born fashion photographer, has recently revealed a collection of previously unreleased black and white photographs of Rihanna. These images were originally taken for the ANTI album launch in 2016 and are currently on display as part of an exhibit in Milan.
The latest collection of photographs called “Storie” is currently on display at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, Italy. The exhibit is running alongside the Vogue Photo Festival. These pictures were taken by Roversi who is based in Paris and previously captured Rihanna’s image in his studio in 2014.
Roversi had a conversation with Vogue magazine regarding the pictures he took of Rihanna in November. He emphasized that Rihanna is not just a beautiful woman, but much more than that. In fact, he had previously photographed her for an album cover back in 2015.
We have an incredible exhibition showcasing exclusive images of a phenomenal artist. It was an honor to work with her in my studio for two days. Witnessing her presence was awe-inspiring – the way she moved with such confidence and control over her body was truly extraordinary. The energy and sensuality she exuded were palpable – she knew the power of her beauty and wielded it as an artist would. A good model, much like her, is not only a pretty face but also an artist in their own right.
Roversi is a highly regarded photographer who has gained fame for his expertise in manipulating light and shadow. He employs an old-fashioned 8 x 10 camera to produce images that are rich in texture and resemble the style of a well-crafted oil painting.
From November 16th until December 17th, Palazzo Reale in Milan is hosting an exhibit that showcases various photographs, including those of Rihanna. The collection features a diverse range of works for visitors to enjoy.
