On a daily basis, Ali Ilhan heads to work in Bursa, Turkey, and his loyal canine companion, Cesur, roams around without any supervision. Due to Ali’s busy schedule, he didn’t pay much attention to it and assumed that Cesur would return home safely, which he always did. This routine carried on for quite some time until Ali had some spare time and decided to follow Cesur. After trailing the dog, Ali discovered that Cesur was making his way towards his father’s grave. It was evident that Cesur knew precisely where he was heading since he came to a halt right in front of Ali’s father’s final resting place.

Mehmet Ilhan’s friend Cesur was deeply affected when his owner was admitted to the hospital. Cesur even stopped eating during Mehmet’s final days. Sadly, Mehmet passed away in January 2017, leaving Cesur heartbroken. During the funeral procession, Cesur stood by the coffin and refused to leave until Mehmet was buried. Ali shared that no one dared touch Cesur until his father was laid to rest. The grief-stricken look on Cesur’s face as he stood beside the coffin was a touching reminder of the unbreakable bond between man and his loyal canine companion.
