From the moment they arrived at Ashley’s Kitten Academy in Washington, a mother feline named Scarlet and her only kitten have been inseparable. Ashley Morrison, the founder of the academy, opened her doors to the pair when they were in desperate need of a home. However, Scarlet was initially wary of humans and fiercely protective of her tabby kitten. Ashley provided them with a comfortable room, delicious food, and treats, as well as soft beds to relax in. Slowly but surely, Scarlet warmed up to her foster mother and began feeling more secure. Throughout it all, her gaze remained fixated on her fluffy little kitten. According to Ashley, Scarlet is a wonderful mother, and her kitten is a fat and happy child.
After receiving medical attention from a veterinarian, Scarlet’s condition improved significantly. She became more comfortable with humans and even allowed her foster mother to help take care of her kitten Scout. Scarlet is a loving mother, despite having lost her top canines and having a very expressive face. Ashley speculates that this may be due to her young age.
With Scarlet’s nurturing and affection, Scout thrived and grew at a rapid pace. Despite being a small tabby kitten, Scout’s cheerful personality shone through and his purrs filled the house with happiness. Scarlet couldn’t help but feel like a kitten herself as she watched Scout play, often joining in on the fun and encouraging her baby to play with toys by bringing them to the nest.
As time passed by, Scarlet’s personality became more amiable and she enjoyed the company of those around her. She became more sociable and relaxed, always observing the movements of Scout, the tiny kitten. Ashley decided to relocate them to a better place, which made Scout extremely excited. The curious feline explored the new room with great enthusiasm and energy. Ashley mentioned that he was proud of Scarlet for being more outgoing and comfortable in the new environment. Watching them interact brought immense joy and pleasure.
Whenever Ashley passes by the cat room, she usually spots the mother feline and her little one spending time together. They could be gazing out of the window or simply taking a break after a day full of fun and play.
The woman claims that Scout and Scarlet frequently spend time with each other. Scarlet is fond of pets and finds pleasure in playing with her toys and snuggling with her doll. Meanwhile, Scout is an energetic and sociable cat that helps Scarlet come out of her shyness.
After coming across the story of these felines on the animal rescue center’s social media platforms, Naiya became completely smitten with them and made the special request that they be adopted as a duo. This granted Scarlet the opportunity to always be in close proximity to her offspring, as they settle into their new lives together as a bigger family. Upon entering their new abode, the little furry kitten was overjoyed, bouncing and leaping around with excitement, whilst adapting quickly to his newfound indoor lifestyle, despite his mother being initially apprehensive.
Scout really enjoys spending time with Naiya and often jumps onto her lap for some affection and attention. Whereas, Scarlet is slowly becoming more comfortable with being pet by their owner. Overall, both cats are very happy to have found a loving home where they can live out the rest of their days.
