The feline looked quite dejected and unwell, prompting Isabelle to take action and ask for our help. We were more than happy to lend a hand. Scouring social media, we learned that the cat had been roaming by himself for quite some time, without a home to call his own.
In the midst of a brutal winter in Canada, a cat’s ears had been frozen and ultimately damaged. According to Celine, the cat had lost some parts of its ears as a result of frostbite and infection. Despite this, the cat had managed to survive the cold on its own. As soon as rescuers appeared, the cat readily entered the carrier containing food.
Hansik, a tough ginger cat, underwent antibiotic treatment to heal his injuries. Additionally, he had dental surgery to relieve his dental discomfort and improve his ability to eat with ease. It’s amazing how Hansik has managed to survive multiple life-threatening situations.
Thanks to the excellent care provided by the veterinarian and his foster home, the brave warrior was able to persevere through a prolonged recovery period due to his FIV+ status. Despite the challenges, he remained determined and resilient for almost three months. Celine noted that not too long ago, he was left to fend for himself outside in the cold with nobody to care for him.
Presently, the loving ginger cat has completely recovered from his past afflictions and has developed a newfound trust in humans. He is now in search of a peaceful and loving household to call his own, where he can be cherished and cared for endlessly.
Hansik experiences immense happiness as he snuggles into his warm and cozy bed. The feeling of comfort and love surrounds him, making him content.
