At the young age of two, Marina Morskaya stumbled upon a cat who now resides with her and owes his life to her. On a separate occasion, while at a station, a boy discovered a deceased kitten, approximately seven days old. The cause of death remains unknown, but it’s possible that someone heartlessly discarded the kitten or its mother lost it during transit.
Marina was unsure if the infant was alive, yet he didn’t feel completely cold when she touched him. She tenderly lifted him and placed him close to her ear, where she could detect a faint heartbeat.
Wow, it’s still breathing! With a sense of urgency, Marina rushed to the vet, not wanting to waste any precious time. The little kitten was found to be malnourished and infected with an illness. But Marina was resolute in her determination to nurse the furry creature back to health. Armed with a prescription for medicine and a willingness to feed it every hour, she was ready for the challenge ahead.
Numerous nights passed by without sleep as the girl diligently administered treatments to the kitten’s eyes and nose. She talked to him lovingly, promising to keep him forever if he pulled through. Slowly but surely, the power of affection worked its magic and the little feline started to improve! One of his eyes was lost, but that was the only casualty.
Marina found a kitten who was in need of help and took him under her wing. She named him Pirate and gave him a loving home where he could thrive with all the perks of being a beloved pet. Kudos to Marina for stepping up and showing compassion for a vulnerable animal.
