Meet Big Poppa, the adorable three-year-old English bulldog who is fondly referred to as “Big Poppa”. He resides in an apartment in Atlanta with his pet-mom, Rashida Ellis. This cute pup loves spending time with the children in the neighborhood and is known for his friendly demeanor. Unfortunately, due to quarantine restrictions, Big Poppa has not been able to play with his friends as usual.

While working remotely, Ellis noticed Pop’s whining coming from the balcony. The adorable dog was previously lounging outside, soaking up some sunlight and relishing the breezy atmosphere. However, something appeared to have disturbed him abruptly. Upon inspecting the situation, Ellis saw Big Poppa keeping a watchful eye on two children whom he occasionally plays with during his outdoor strolls.

Big Poppa was attempting to grab their attention, but unfortunately, it did not work out as planned, causing him to feel disheartened. Ellis could see that Big Poppa was feeling down and missing the company of his friends.

Her heart was moved by his genuine expression of sorrow and yearning, prompting her to post a couple of photos portraying the melancholic dog on her Twitter account.

Big Poppa is articulating the emotions that numerous individuals share, and his exasperation and yearning are connecting with many. The images spread rapidly across the internet, and several people have reached out to offer their support and sentiments to Poppa.

It’s a tough phase we’re going through, but brighter days are ahead. Meanwhile, we can lend support to one another. Although we may be physically distant, we’re still united in this challenge. After the video of Pop went viral, dog owners shared photos of their own furry friends going through similar experiences to let Pop know that he’s not alone. Many dogs are feeling the absence of their social circle.
