Sometimes in life, it’s our differences that make us unique. For Pippin, being born with Radial Hypoplasia doesn’t make him any different from any other cat. He still plays, he loves his human, he goes up and down the stairs, all things come to him naturally–just in his own adorable way!
Young Pippin back in his early days:
The condition that Pippin lives with affects his movement and only allows him limited use of his front paws. But regardless of this, Pippin (or Pip as his cat dad likes to call him) doesn’t let life slow him down. He’s a happy cat that’s full of love and lots of spunk!
His human, Kyle Byron, said, “The first time I saw Pippin was in a video that my mom sent me. He was a little ball of fluff sitting in the middle of a living room, then he put his face down on the carpet and pushed himself forward with his back legs a couple of feet before crashing into a stuffed toy.”
Immediately Kyle knew this kitten needed to come home with him, where he could get the love and kindness he deserved. Kyle was smitten over this precious little fellow, and arranged for the adoption to take place where his mother worked, State Road Animal Hospital in Alma, Michigan.
As you can see from Pippin’s Instagram account, this is one beautiful cat that is very loved by his human! If you’d like to see more of this adorable little guy, you can follow him @my_cat_pippin
We are so thankful for people like Kyle who make this world a better place! Share Pip with your cat-lover friends!
