Meet Bowie, a Tuxedo Cat with a unique appearance that never fails to amaze everyone who sees him. His flowy, tuxedo-patterned coat and large whiskers make him a true spectacle. He was rescued from the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Washington State and immediately stole the hearts of his current owners with his charming features. Although they didn’t see his striking eyes at first, they knew Bowie was the one for them. They named him after the famous musician David Bowie, as it suited his personality and mesmerizing eyes perfectly. Since bringing him home, they have created countless happy memories with their laid-back kitty who enjoys the simple pleasures of life, like taking romantic strolls to his food dish.
Bowie, popularly known as Bow, has captured the hearts of many Instagram users with his irresistible charm and modeling skills. The Seattle-based feline, who shares a home with his humans and feline friend Olive, is always ready for his close-up or a quick catnap. He’s a natural at striking poses for the camera and providing an enjoyable viewing experience. Additionally, Bowie loves bird watching, making it one of his top priorities to keep an eye on the skies.

The bio on someone’s Instagram profile suggests that they have a unique personality which is initially sour but later sweet like a cat. The cat in question is called Bowie, and he seems to have a lot of personality. Scarlett French, Bowie’s owner, has kindly agreed to answer some questions I had about this remarkable feline. She shared that she rescued Bowie after walking past PAWS cat city with her husband after a comedy show. Bowie was curled up and staring directly at the couple, and they were won over by his endearing demeanor. Although he was on hold until 5 pm, they still visited him the next day, hoping for the best.
During the night, we got to spend some time with him. However, it wasn’t until we had a closer look at his eyes that we realized how unique and captivating they were. We were completely taken aback! Luckily, when the hold was lifted, we were able to bring him home with us. We named him Bowie, after David Bowie who also had mismatched eyes. Our other cat, Olive, took some time to adjust to a new furry friend but now they are inseparable. We are completely besotted with our little Bow. In summary, his personality is relaxed and carefree. He shows a lot of affection towards others and likes to be curious about his surroundings. When we have dogs staying with us temporarily, Bowie is always the first to approach them and show affection by rubbing against their legs, even if they don’t seem to like it. He enjoys being around humans and likes to stay close to us, but he’s not really into cuddling.
What sets him apart from other cats? Firstly, he is probably one of the quietest felines you will ever encounter. Even though he chatters away when he sees birds, Bowie has never meowed in front of us. It’s quite funny because my partner and I have had a few talkative cats before, but Bowie is a mute! This unusual trait adds to his appeal, and we feel fortunate to have him as a part of our lives. Bowie, even though you are an odd-eyed cat, you are exceptional just the way you are. Your attractiveness and amiable personality make the world a better place.
