The orange tabby was in excruciating pain, and a rescue group that picked him up couldn’t afford the $6,500 surgery required to save his life. They sought assistance from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, their partner organization, who stepped in to help without hesitation. A volunteer from the shelter took to Facebook to express their compassion for the helpless feline, stating that they couldn’t say no to aiding him.

Once upon a time, there was a feline named Cupid who sadly experienced a devastating attack that resulted in a critical infection. Luckily, the Animal Welfare League of Arlington spotted Cupid’s picture and acted quickly to save him. The poor cat was taken to an emergency vet where he was given pain relief, and underwent an x-ray to establish the extent of his injuries. Even though he was in agony, Cupid managed to purr when volunteers showered him with love. The following day, the brave cat went through a two-hour procedure using bolt cutters to remove the arrow from his body. Fortunately, the arrow missed vital organs and arteries, but it caused an intense infection.

Medical professionals have warned that Cupid’s infections are dangerous, but they have praised the cat for being strong. The spokesperson for the medical team explained that Cupid’s road to recovery will be tough because his infection is severe. At the moment, he is being given two different antibiotics while they wait for more information about the illness. Since Cupid is young and malnourished, the surgery was intense, and he is being closely monitored during the healing process. Although there is no guarantee of complete recovery, Cupid’s medical staff is working tirelessly to ensure he pulls through. Despite all the challenges, Cupid has demonstrated incredible resilience.

Emily Bott and Dylan Loewke initially had their hearts set on an old farmhouse as their dream home. However, their plans took a detour when they stumbled upon 15 cats lounging in the yard. Intrigued by their presence, the couple inquired whether the felines would be included in the property deal. Fortunately, their real estate agent confirmed that the cats would not be around when they moved in, putting their minds at ease.

When they decided to buy the house, they made sure to mention that their dear cat friends should be permitted to reside there as well.

Given that there were 15 cats living on the property, it was crucial to have a plan in case of emergency. Fortunately, they didn’t need to put any measures into action.

The felines who had a previous owner suffered from inadequate care, which adversely affected their health. But the silver lining is that they are presently in the hands of a compassionate duo who are ensuring their welfare.
