An adorable kitten caught the attention of workers who were busy at a construction site. The poor little fellow was all alone and seemed to be lost. After a couple of days, another furry feline with the same coat as the first one appeared at the same location.
Squiggy’s story began three months ago when a construction site worker found him alone in the parking area. Despite looking for other kittens, none were found and it was clear that the mother cat was absent. To ensure Squiggy received the care he needed, Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue (MLAR) was contacted. Thankfully, a kind-hearted individual brought Squiggy to MLAR where he was placed in the care of foster volunteer, Monica, who gave him the love and attention he deserved. After a few days, to everyone’s surprise, another kitten with a fluffy coat of the same age showed up at the same site.
One day, a city worker found a cute little kitten all by itself in a front-end loader at a construction site. The good folks at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue came to the rescue and took the furry critter under their care. Interestingly enough, the following week they received another call about a similar-looking kitten, with white fur and black spots, also found all alone in a Skid Steer loader. The similarities led them to believe that the two kittens might be related.
After a couple of days, the volunteers at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue stumbled upon another little kitten who looked almost identical to the first one they found – same age, same fluff. Baffled by the absence of their mother, they couldn’t help but wonder if these two little furballs were siblings. In a heartwarming effort to reunite them, Monica, one of the kind-hearted rescuers, took the second kitten under her care. The little one, now known as Shirley, was an instant lovebug, snuggling up in a warm blanket and feeling safe and cared for.
As soon as Shirley was introduced to Squiggy at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue, the two of them hit it off immediately. They waddled up next to each other and began investigating each other with their noses, as if they had known each other forever. In just a short amount of time, they were playing together like old friends, rolling around and wrestling until they were exhausted. Eventually, they settled down and slept soundly together, wrapped up in each other’s company.
As soon as they were reunited, these adorable kittens started snuggling and playing together at Murphys Law Animal Rescue. According to the staff, they’re like two peas in a pod and have quickly bonded with each other within just a few hours. The team worked tirelessly to ensure that these loving kittens will never be separated again.
Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue shared an adorable photo of two siblings who were inseparable, just like two peas in a pod. Although Squiggy struggled to figure out how to play with toys, his sister Shirley was already mastering the art of walking and wrestling. Squiggy quickly learned how to eat from a dish, while Shirley preferred some extra bottle time. The two fluffy balls of fur rolled and tumbled in their nest, creating an endearing sight.
The feline siblings had a close bond and imitated each other’s behavior. Shirley stepped up her game after Squiggy was done nursing, so they could savor their meals together. Whenever Squiggy used the litter box, Shirley would follow suit and attempt to do the same.

Shirley loves to play, but she still prioritizes sleep above all else, just like her brother. Seeing these two reunited is an incredible feeling. It’s amazing to have the opportunity to give Shirley the same second chance that Squiggy received.
The two furry friends from @murphyslawanimalrescue are inseparable, just like how peanut butter and jelly or baseball and apple pie go together. Watching their adorable wobbly movements is sure to brighten up anyone’s day, as they bring nothing but joy.
As these felines matured, they turned into lively cats who loved to cause trouble alongside their fellow foster kittens. It didn’t take long for them to become quite the socialites.
While spending time with another foster from the Murphys Law Animal Rescue, Shirley found her perfect forever home. With the help of a supportive community, Squiggy and Shirley, two rescued kittens, were able to find a loving family to spend their lives with, living happily ever after together.
