Numerous injured stray animals found on the streets come across kind-hearted people who wish to assist them, but unfortunately lack the means to do so.

Scooter, the adorable little pup, had a pretty bad injury. Someone tried to assist him in recovering, but unfortunately, they were unable to finish the treatment for some unknown reason.

Upon being found on the streets of Kolkata, India, she was in a terrible state. Her hind legs were bound tightly with no room to move, and one of her many injuries had become infected and maggots had started to feed on it. Upon discovery, people assumed that she had been attacked by another dog.

After being discovered in a helpless state, Scooter was taken to an animal hospital where she received medical attention for two broken hind legs and infected wounds. Unfortunately, her journey towards healing was lengthy.

After undergoing months of treatment, Scooter was finally ready to find a forever home. Alexandra Gade took care of Scooter during this time before she was moved to Virginia to live with her new family who affectionately named her Dobby, as reported by Paw My Gosh.

Dobby’s early life on the streets was far from easy, leaving her with visible reminders of her past struggles. By spreading the word about her journey, we can celebrate the incredible individuals who rescued, nurtured, and gave her a forever home.
