Despite their ongoing feud over the Dolce Gabbana controversy, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian can still find common ground in their shared memories, particularly their mischievous high school antics. In a recent episode of the fourth season of The Kardashians, airing on October 5, the sisters unveiled their hilarious pastime of pulling pranks on unsuspecting men by dialing a phone sex hotline during their adolescence.
It was actually Khloé who first spilled the beans on a surprising secret about her sisters Kourtney and Kim. While visiting the construction site of her Good American store at Westfield Century City mall, Khloé couldn’t help but share some intriguing information with the producers. She let them in on a little secret – Kourtney and Kim used to have a playful habit of calling 1-900 numbers and inviting gentlemen to meet them at that very location.
Kim later confirmed Khloé’s revelation in a confessional. She admitted that it was true, they did connect with random men through an anonymous phone sex hotline, but she made it clear that they never followed through with actually meeting up in person.
“We used to have conversations with these guys when we were around 15 years old. They would suggest meeting up at Blockbuster in the mall,” she reminisced. “But instead of going through with it, we would leave them waiting and snap a Polaroid picture. We ended up with a collection of these Polaroids that we would proudly display at the mall.”
Wanting to relive the memories, Kim reached out to Kourtney to ask for the contact number they used back then. Surprisingly, Kourtney still remembered it perfectly and shared it with her. Feeling mischievous, Kim decided to make another call, this time capturing it all for the cameras. As they initiated the call, a sultry automated voice greeted them with the words, “Welcome to [censored], where naughty is nice.” Before they knew it, a random guy joined the live chat, and Kim embraced a whole new persona.
“Hey there, it’s Samantha,” Kim coyly introduces herself, playfully coaxing the man to reveal his name and hometown, stifling a laugh. The man hesitates, only mentioning that he resides in Ventura County, causing Kim to get spooked and abruptly end the conversation. However, she jots down the H๏tline number, perhaps planning to pull off another prank on an unsuspecting man in the future.
This anecdote serves as further evidence that pranks run deep in the Kardashian family’s veins, with the exception of their mom, Kris Jenner, who often ends up as the target. In an unforgettable episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé and Scott Disick famously orchestrated a prank that led Jenner to believe she stumbled into a liquor store while intoxicated and relieved herself in a dumpster, all through the clever manipulation of fake paparazzi pH๏tos.
Lately, Kim has taken a liking to pulling more playful stunts. In the latest installment of The Kardashians, Season 3, she teamed up with Disick to play a trick on Jenner and those in their vicinity by pretending she was North West’s art teacher, thanks to the clever use of prosthetics and special effects make-up. Not stopping there, Kim even went as far as trying to convince her entire family that she was set to become the next Bachelorette, going as far as seeking assistance from a Disney executive to back up her claim.
Now, it seems like Kim has claimed the title of being the ultimate prankster in the family.
