Jennifer Lopez will be starring in the upcoming film Hustlers, where she takes on the role of a stripper alongside talented actresses Constance Wu, Cardi B, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, and Lili Reinhart. Known for her unwavering commitment to every role she plays, Lopez recently took to Instagram to showcase her incredible physique while on set for the movie. In the photo, she confidently sports a stylish pink bikini that perfectly matches her lipstick, accompanied by oversized sunglasses and accessorized with bracelets, hoop earrings, and a belly button ring. In the caption, she wrote, “I’m a hustler baby… I just want you to know… #Ramona on fire ? On set and in character for #hustlersmovie.” Joining forces with her fellow cast members, Lopez’s character in the film bands together with her fellow strippers to seek vengeance on their clients.
Lopez received tremendous support from her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, as she prepared for her role in the film, which she is co-producing as well. Rodriguez shared videos of her practicing a pole-dancing scene in February, showcasing her dedication. For the rehearsal, Lopez wore clear stiletto heels, a black sports bra, and matching booty shorts, as she observed herself in the mirror, executing pole spins and poses. Rodriguez captured the moment on his Instagram story, playing the song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing’s soundtrack.
During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Lopez admitted that pole dancing was challenging and left her with bruises all over her body. She expressed her admiration for pole dancers, acknowledging that it requires acrobatics and engages different muscle groups. Lopez described her struggle with certain moves and the desire to redo them.
Apart from intense training, Lopez followed a 10-day no-sugar, no-carb diet recommended by her trainer, Dodd Romero. Surprisingly, Rodriguez joined her in sticking to this strict diet. When Lopez appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she shared her experience of cutting out sugar and how it initially affected her. She described feeling like she was in a different reality, experiencing headaches and withdrawals. However, as the days progressed, Lopez began to feel better and embraced the reduced inflammation and bloating. She became addicted to the positive effects of the diet and was willing to go through it again.
