As a cat lover, I can spend hours browsing through pictures of adorable cats from all parts of the world. It is truly amazing how these feline creatures can captivate us with their effortless beauty, whether they come with spots, stripes, patches, or a solid coat. Recently, while scrolling through my Facebook group for Tuxedo Cat Lovers, I stumbled upon a picture of the most stunning spotted black and white kitty named Ziggy-Kai. Some people refer to these types of cats as “cow cats,” but Ziggy’s coat pattern is truly one-of-a-kind. Luckily, I was able to get in touch with his owner, who agreed to let me feature him on my website. So, without any further delay, let me introduce you to Ziggy-Kai – the rescued cat with an unbeatable cool factor!
Ziggy-Kai and his feline mother reside in sunny Seal Beach, California. This uniquely handsome feline loves to bask in the sun and demand attention. He’s always ready to pose and show off his good looks!
If you’re curious about how Ziggy-Kai came into his owner’s life, he was adopted from the Huntington Beach Humane Society in February 2020. His owner had been searching for a rescue kitty for three months and was specifically looking for a black and white tuxedo kitty, since they had one before named Buddy who lived until he was 14.
As for his name, Ziggy-Kai was initially named Marily, but it didn’t quite fit him. His owner wanted to come up with something that would suit him better, and since he has zigzag lightning bolts on both of his legs, they decided on Ziggy. Kai means “ocean,” so they thought Z Kai would be a perfect addition to his name.
Can you describe his personality?
He’s a very outgoing cat and not at all shy. He takes pleasure in looking at the birds in my patio, and I’ve trained him to walk on a leash so we can go for walks and relax outside. Whenever he senses that I’m feeling down, he comes over and stares right into my eyes, comforting me. Personally, I adore this furry little friend of mine.
What are his interests?
When it comes to hobbies, he loves playing with strings and small fuzzballs, and he will happily fetch anything I throw and bring it back to me. He craves attention and enjoys when my friends and clients come over to visit. Everyone who meets him adores him, and he has a way of demanding attention sometimes. Despite his occasional annoyance, he remains one of the sweetest and most special cats I’ve ever met.

Do you want to know what makes Ziggy-Kai unique? Well, one of the things that sets him apart is his love for taking showers and shampooing his hair. He also loves being around me all the time, although I only let him shower once a week. He has a great sense of humor and whenever someone comes in, he immediately throws himself at their feet.
