A while back, Alina Lazaryeva, who is a part of Kuwait Animal Aid, received an upsetting notification about a cat that was found in a construction zone. This particular location was being used as a spot to leave behind animals that had been deserted. Without delay, a volunteer rushed over to save the cat, according to Alina’s account.
A lone cat was sighted hiding among the pavement stones, seemingly seeking comfort in his own company. Upon the rescuer’s arrival, the feline shrank back behind the stones, showing clear signs of fear and confusion. “Our volunteer handled the situation delicately and managed to lift the cat up. The cat didn’t budge, clearly paralyzed with fright,” Alina described.
The feline was given the name Yellow and was placed in the hands of a nearby foster family who were committed to ensuring his safety and well-being. Alina, who spoke to Love Meow, mentioned that Yellow’s mood improved greatly upon his arrival at the foster home. Due to the high number of abandoned or unloved animals in Kuwait, they are constantly looking for more foster families.
As time passed by, Yellow became more at ease with his new guardians and began showing signs of fondness towards them. Despite being cautious around other felines initially, he quickly adjusted to indoor living and felt right at home. Upon arriving safely, they received a warm reception from their foster families. Save the Meow Meows, a cat rescue organization in Los Angeles, provided Yellow with a comforting environment where he found comfort. He adapted well and developed an attachment to his human caregivers. He relished the comfortable living conditions and would melt into a state of bliss whenever his head was gently petted.
Yellow’s behavior underwent a positive shift as he came to terms with the fact that he no longer had to fend for himself in the great outdoors or worry about where his next meal would come from. Following a neuter procedure and thorough veterinary care, he became even more receptive to human affection, seeking out cuddles and other gestures of love. Additionally, Yellow began to develop closer bonds with some of his fellow foster felines, gravitating towards those who remained calm and collected in his presence.
