Pit Bulls are a dog breed that tends to create strong opinions among people. However, Brinks the Pit Bull manages to win over hearts regardless of one’s feelings towards the breed. Just look at that adorable smile!
One beautiful day, a stray Pitbull was strolling through the streets of Brooklyn when he bumped into a guy and his dog. The guy introduced himself as Jon, and his pup was named Demo. Surprisingly, the three of them got along so well from the get-go.
Jon made the decision to take care of Brinks temporarily while he searched for the dog’s rightful owner. However, a month had passed and despite his efforts in searching through missing dog reports and putting up flyers, Jon was unable to locate Brinks’ owner. Therefore, he made the decision to keep Brinks as his own furry companion for good.
At 11 months old, Brinks had a smile that can still warm hearts even after almost 12 years. With his adorable charm, it’s not surprising that he has garnered over 21k followers on Instagram.
This furry friend with a unique look is in search of a loving and permanent home. Meet Woody, a dog who suffered an unfortunate incident as a puppy when he was attacked by another dog at a mere age of 5 weeks. As per S.N.A.R.R Animal Rescue Northeast, Woody wasn’t given any medical attention and had to heal on his own.
Woody, the dog, was in a difficult situation when his owners left him chained up outside and went away. Fortunately, SNARR came to his rescue after they received news of his abandonment. Woody had to fend for himself for six weeks, but with the help of kind neighbors who provided him with food, he managed to survive. Keep reading to find out more about the latest developments in this heartwarming story.
As per the Facebook post by SNARR, Woody’s ‘family’ deserted him and left him behind at home. SNARR was approached to take Woody into their rescue, and they immediately agreed to do so without hesitation. Despite his asymmetrical facial features, Woody is in good health and does not have any medical problems. His rescuers adore him even more because of his unique appearance.
Not only was Woody’s appearance captivating to those who saved him, but they also discovered his kind-hearted nature. Upon arriving at his temporary home, Woody’s caregiver wasn’t feeling her best.
On the initial day of Woody’s arrival, his foster parent, Jamie Bond was suffering from a fever. However, Woody’s intuitive nature could sense that something was wrong and he didn’t leave Jamie’s side. He spent the entire afternoon snuggled up with her on the couch. Since then, Woody has become Jamie’s constant companion, always following her around to ensure her safety. He loves nothing more than to curl up on the bed with Jamie and rest his head on her chest.
Woody, who is now 8 months old, is finally enjoying his puppyhood to the fullest. He is a cheerful and affectionate dog, always ready to play and cuddle. However, SNARR, the shelter that rescued him, is being very careful in selecting his forever home. They want to ensure that Woody finds a family that suits his personality and needs.
According to SNARR, Woody is still learning how to behave properly. He needs love and patience, as well as some training to correct his jumpy behavior. It’s understandable, given that he spent a good part of his young life chained up outside. However, Woody has a quirk that might not be suitable for everyone. He has a tendency to chase cats, so he needs to be in a cat-free home.
Despite his imperfections, Woody is a lovable and loyal companion who deserves a chance at a happy life. SNARR hopes that they can find the perfect match for him soon.
According to SNARR, Woody would do well in a household with only female dogs. He currently lives with four female dogs in his foster home and thrives in their company. Although he is good with children, it is recommended that he be placed in a home with older kids above the age of ten. Woody does not display any signs of aggression towards people or animals, but due to his large size, he may get excited and jump up on occasion. SNARR Northeast’s website has an application form for those who meet the adoption criteria and are interested in giving Woody a forever home.
