Meet Mami, the adorable feline with the most heart-wrenching eyes you’ll ever see. She was discovered as a helpless kitten crying out for help in a dumpster a year ago. Her rescuer was deeply saddened to find this innocent creature in such a state and immediately reached out to a friend who had a soft spot for cats. Upon hearing about Mami’s situation, Sinead Schaefey readily offered to provide her with a temporary home. After giving her a warm bath and some food, Mami was finally able to rest comfortably.

At the beginning, it was tough for Sinead and her new kitten. The little one was scared and constantly found places to hide away from everything. Sinead thought that this behavior would never change, and the kitten even hissed at her. However, after weeks of trying different things, Sinead and her partner decided to bring home another kitten named Morty. Surprisingly, this decision worked like magic, and the two kittens became siblings.

Morty was quite different from Mami when it came to expressing love towards their parents. Right from the start, he showed his affection towards them. Initially, Mami wasn’t too keen on having a sibling, but soon she began to appreciate the idea. It only took a few weeks for the two of them to become inseparable!

Morty played a significant role in comforting Mami. He successfully guided her to embrace her feline instincts once again, encouraging her to meow when she’s hungry and play like a cat should. Above all, Morty reassured Mami that her new owners are kind and won’t harm her. Despite still appearing slightly sad, it’s evident that Mami is content and happy with her current situation.
