Her mother introduced them when she was volunteering with a provider dog project, and the two hit it off immediately. Ever since then, George has been by Bella’s side, providing her with comfort and helping her with daily tasks.

Bella’s mother revealed that George has been a constant companion to Bella during her weekly enzyme replacement therapy sessions at Boston Children’s Hospital. He has also been there for her during two recent brief hospital stays. Bella’s mother expressed that George’s presence has been instrumental in boosting Bella’s confidence and making her feel like any regular kid, despite her medical condition.
