We stumbled upon a tiny feline with some pretty nasty injuries on its back, and surprisingly enough, the only thing that seems to calm it down are American Girl Doll outfits. It’s actually quite adorable to see how content it becomes when dressed up in them, and it even starts to purr with pleasure!
Upon arrival at the Noah’s Ark Animal Welfare Association, it was evident that the little ginger kitten immediately required urgent medical care and a great deal of tender loving care. The association stated that a local resident found him as a stray in their county, in a terrible state with oozing wounds all over his back and belly and suffering from URI. Despite being thin, weak, and weary, this feline kept purring whenever the vet or staff tried assisting him. Dr. Falduto, the incredible veterinarian, had to shave some of his fur to get to the wounds on his back and belly and treat them correctly and determined he had been exposed to acid. He also treated the kitten’s URI. Despite having faced a nightmare, this kitty still showed affection and desired attention. Thus, he was called Courageous due to his kind personality.
According to Noah’s Ark, Courageous is a cat who loves to suckle, knead, and purr. During his recovery, he enjoyed snuggling with Kim Riddle, the Executive Director of the shelter. While she worked, he would knead on a cozy blanket and purr contentedly.
After receiving an abundance of love and care, Courageous bounced back from his respiratory infection and his appetite returned to normal. Riddle decided it was time to take the kitten home and foster him. When McKenzie, the youngest daughter of the family, met Courageous, she felt a strong desire to make him feel more at ease. With some creative thinking, she came up with a plan.
McKenzie had some clothes for her American Girl doll, and coincidentally, Courageous was nearly the same size as the doll. She decided to try dressing the kitten in the doll clothes to see if they would provide some much-needed comfort and warmth. As soon as she put the shirt on Courageous, he started to purr contentedly. He was so comfortable in his new outfit that he even fell asleep next to the doll.
Courageous always appreciated the love and affection he received from his foster family and never let it go to waste. He loved being part of a large family and embraced every moment with them. “He has come a long way since we first met him,” said the foster family. “He is now healthy and happy, and he loves to purr all the time!” However, they also warned that he still had a tendency to suckle quite often. Despite this, Courageous continued to make great progress and enjoyed every day with his loving family.
A few weeks after discovering Courageous, he transformed into the most joyful and thriving feline one could imagine! It goes without saying that he constantly purrs and has an abundance of affection to offer.
It’s highly likely that this adorable feline is eagerly anticipating Santa’s arrival with a wish list full of dolls. But let’s be real, the real motive behind this request is to score some new outfits to pilfer.
Spread the word to your buddies!
