In the newest episode of “Sister Wives,” Kody Brown reveals his wish to reunite with Janelle Brown after a period of separation. In an exclusive preview shared by TODAY.com, Kody discusses how he previously asked Janelle about the possibility of reconciliation. However, Janelle has not yet expressed any interest in getting back together. Kody expresses his love and longing for Janelle, but the decision to reconcile remains in her hands.
In a recent episode, the 54-year-old Kody Brown pretended to be his estranged wife, Janelle Brown, and imitated her response to a question about their relationship with Robyn and Meri. Janelle had stated that she wasn’t interested in nurturing a relationship with Robyn and Meri if they weren’t together as a group. This disappointed Kody as he felt that it went against their agreement about plural marriage. In response, Janelle gave an interview explaining that she didn’t see the point in maintaining a relationship with Robyn and Meri if they weren’t all together, as they didn’t have much in common. She also suggested that Kody’s request to reconcile was just an excuse to justify his behavior and protect Robyn. Janelle expressed her disappointment in Kody’s insincere intentions.
The truth is, he has never expressed his love or desire to reconcile with me. His focus is always on getting the family back together so that his life can run smoothly again. But I am done with that. In his confessional, Kody Brown acknowledges the strained state of his plural family and his failed attempts to reconcile with Janelle. While Janelle has been vocal about her lack of interest in reconciliation throughout Season 18 of “Sister Wives,” Kody continues to ask for another chance. However, Janelle has made it clear that she feels more at peace without him and doesn’t see a path forward for their marriage. She has even told Kody that she wants to stay separated and no longer wants to be married.
