Being alone is truly a melancholic situation that no one should have to go through. It’s disheartening to hear that this furry friend has been living solo for nine long years underneath a shipping container. Thankfully, the benevolent non-profit organization, Hope for Paws, came to the rescue and provided her with a loving and caring home.

During her work, a woman contacted them and reported the presence of a dog in the scrapyard. Upon investigation, the team found the canine sleeping under a container. Surprisingly, the poor creature had been residing there by herself for nearly ten years since her owner was exiled and left her in a pitiful state.

Occasionally, generous folks would bestow some grub upon her. Moreover, she endures agony from being struck by a vehicle and permanently losing her right eye. Sadly, she never received medical attention.

As you keep scrolling down, there’s a video that showcases the heartwarming moment when the rescuers patiently gained the trust of a timid animal and eventually freed her from a container. The rescuers even gave her a name – Josephine or “Pheenie” for short.

Pheenie was showered with love and care, and surprisingly, she didn’t show any signs of fear. It was evident that she had been yearning for affection for a long time. They eventually took her to the vet and discovered that she was not in good health. Although she requires treatment, she can now rest easy knowing that she is in a secure and cozy environment.

Pheenie finally found her way out of the darkness and was embraced by love and warmth. Her days were spent basking in the sunlight and frolicking in the snow, while also making new friends. However, after only five months, she peacefully took her last breath in front of her cozy fireplace.
