Kitten Comes To Vet Clinic For Help And Ends Up Running The Place like A Boss

A 4-week-old orange tabby cat was admitted to Warwick Vet Hospital in Perth, AU, for urgent care. He was comatose upon arrival and could barely breathe anymore.

Staff immediately provided oxygen therapy and brought life to his tiny body. Kate Hayes, a veterinary nurse, said: “After an X-ray, we found out that he had pneumonia. Both of his lungs were affected, but his right side. He was seriously injured.”

He started taking antibiotics right away. He doesn’t particularly like them, but they are necessary. The kitten is lovingly named “Bobby” and for the first few days it gets plenty of rest to allow its body to recover. Then his bright eyes began to shine. So is his personality.

When the little tabby cat recovered, he was eager to make friends with everyone at the clinic. He would climb onto his people, place them on their shoulders, and control his inner parrot.

He will happily offer to hold an empty person’s lap, then dash around as if he owns it.

When Bobby’s tired of all the antics, he’ll curl up sweetly in his cozy cat bed, huddled in blankets before dozing off to the sound of the phone ringing. “Everybody at the clinic loves him.”

“We discovered his right lung would never swell again because it was so scary. We showed him the X-ray and lab report. He smiled despite the news. He fought hard to stay alive and won all of our hearts in the process,” added Kate.

Bobby likes to stick his paw out of the nest to hold the hand of an employee in need of a break or to take care of a kitten.

With a functioning lung, Bobby needed intensive care for the rest of his life. Having the necessary resources to take care of him, staff at Warwick Vet turned him into an official Cat Clinic. Bobby is currently a permanent employee at the facility and he takes his job very seriously.

Moon, Kate’s dog, frequents the vet’s office, acting as Bobby’s mentor, training him on front desk duties and other duties around the clinic.

Bobby has mastered the art of greeting customers at the front desk, offering to assist staff and taking care of cat patients in need of companionship.

“He started monitoring patients in the hospital. Peanut and Sesame were in the process of de-sexing. Bobby watched them very closely while they were in the hospital. He also didn’t try to steal food. there.”

Moon is taking a step back and letting her little patron handle the front desk under her watchful eye.

“Moon has been Bobby’s protector from the moment he arrived. Bobby has completely entered his teenage years. He’s always joking around with Moon, and like the good boy Moon, he’s always on his way, though sometimes Bobby crosses his line.”

The little boy brought so much joy to everyone he loved. He’s still the same adorable kitten, just a lot bigger and with more to cuddle with.
