Jennifer Aniston possesses an extremely desirable physique that many people envy. To discover what she typically eats on a regular day, we sat down with the World’s Most Beautiful Woman of this year and asked her to give us a breakdown.
Aniston emphasizes the importance of being mindful and thoughtful about the type of food we consume. In her interview with PEOPLE for this week’s cover story, she explains, “We need to pay close attention to what we nourish our bodies with, as well as how we prioritize sleep, eating habits, and self-care.”
To kickstart her day, the 47-year-old actress begins with a cup of hot water infused with lemon. According to her, this practice helps to alkalize the body early in the morning. She follows this up with a cup of coffee containing low-fat milk and stevia, a natural sweetener.
As for her breakfast, Aniston often opts for a protein shake. She elaborates, “Typically, I blend in bananas, cherries, blackberries, a greens powder, collagen peptides, cacao powder, chocolate stevia drops, and chocolate almond milk.” It’s evident that she has a fondness for chocolate-flavored options and prefers to mask the taste of protein.

To satisfy her mid-morning cravings, Aniston opts for a hard-boiled egg, waiting a few hours after her shake. As for her lunch go-to, she enjoys seared ahi tuna paired with a refreshing cucumber and lentil salad. Aniston likes to drizzle some olive oil on her dish and uses Bragg’s amino acids as a soy sauce substitute. If hunger strikes in the afternoon, she might have a cheese stick or a cup of soup to tide her over until dinner. Speaking of which, her most recent dinner included roasted chicken with spiraled zucchini and a delicious pesto sauce. Alternatively, she and her partner Justin occasionally whip up a comforting pasta carbonara.
However, Aniston admits that she used to follow a stricter diet regimen. Nowadays, she allows herself some flexibility and indulges in her weakness for savory, salty flavors. “I’m not as strict as I used to be. It was always about monitoring and watching,” she reveals. “But then I realized the importance of moderation.”
Aniston now understands that true beauty lies in embracing and loving every aspect of oneself. It’s not solely about clothes or external appearances. “There is so much more to a person that is beautiful,” she emphasizes.
